Yes. In fact, we prefer that you use an outside professional caterer for events with a full meal service. In the case of small parties or receptions, the DMA will consider allowing the event to be self-catered but will make that determination at the time of event planning. Food preparation should primarily be done off-site or in the caterer’s food service vehicle, using our prep area for reheating, refrigeration, plating, presentation and clean-up. The caterer must be approved by the Executive Director and meet with staff at least 10 days before the event to ensure that all museum policies are adhered to.
Renter is responsible to contract independently with an approved professional catering service.
